When you're this far behind on blogging all the great things that have been happening should you really even try to catch up?! That's what I'm thinking in my little mind everytime I open blogger to do my daily blog reading.... I'm thinking of it and then I'm thinking ..... NAH! Move on! I could spend all my time trying to catch up or I could just move on!
On it is!
June has flown by with a fun fun furry! School's out! Scarlett is making lots of little friends, Noah's birthday sleepover extravaganza was awesome, he lost another tooth and I had a great catch up mini vacation in Las Vegas with Christine! I've been rolling back into some sort of running routine, although it is getting WICKED HOT out there. Feels nice! I think the summer will be easier to manage when I'm not lugging around the extra "Tracy Ten" I've picked up ;)
Hmmm, exciting news on my front - I think I'm going to play Bunco with some friends tonight. The mom group I joined awhile back does it every other month and it sounds like a lot of fun, why not right?? I'll try to remember to let everyone know how that goes! :)
Exciting news on Kevin's front - he tested for E-7 last month and KNOCKED it out of the park! Well I think so at least.... we are waiting for the official numbers and news, but he has nice feelings about it - Stay Tuned.....
We should have a pretty nice relaxing weekend ahead of us with only a birthday party for one of Scarlett's friends and Father's Day on the calendar. Next week is more socializing for the 3 of us summer rats! I am beyond thrilled that I made the decision to stay home this summer! When you hear God knocking on your heart you should defnitely listen - it always turns out right. The kids and I are staying busier than I ever thought possible, but we are really having so much fun! Last but not least at all - if it weren't on my calendar I wouldn't belive it! ---- next Friday we leave for Wisconsin!!! This is sure to be a family vacation that we never forget and that will be talked about for a lifetime!
I promise now that I am not drowning in school and all of those other things I spread myself thin over I'll be better about loving our little blog here. Maybe I'll even get back to creating things in the kitchen again?! Thank you all for letting us share our simple God-filled, Fun-filled, Coastie life with you!
