Merry Christmas!!!

I can't believe it's over... well, yesterday turned out to be a pretty merry Christmas afterall. Partly because of all the great things we got, partly because it's always fun to watch people I love open things I picked out for them, obviously because it's Jesus' birthday and mostly because it's the last one we have to spend without family!!! We spent a very fun Christmas Eve hanging out with the kiddos and then playing games with our friend Suzanne...

Christmas morning we actually woke up a little before Noah with Letty & made some coffee. When Noah woke up he was soooo excited as always. It never gets old watching him enjoy the magic of Christmas morning. He was beyond stoked when he saw that Santa brought him a Nintendo DS and the Bakugan balls he asked for. I'm not gonna write about everything he got but I will post this picture of the majority of his loot....

Scarlett was pretty excited about her gift from Santa too :)

Sadly there are no pictures of Kev & I opening our presents but I will say that my husband is the most awesome husband EVER because (among many other great items) he got me the bag I've been drooling over for months, the Maggie in cobalt blue! Here it is...

Good job Babe! ;)
The weather was pretty icky outside so we decided against the beach and the boys played with toys while I watched Gone With the Wind all day. It was perfect and relaxing. We originally wanted to go all out and find a place that served duck on Christmas (channeling The Christmas Story, lol) but we settled on Kobe and had a really yummy dinner.

After dinner, we went down to check out the Honolulu City lights and Scarlett passed out as Noah and I Ooooed & Awwwwed! I love Christmas lights, when I was a little girl Mom & Dad always used to drive us around to look at the beautiful lights. They still mesmerize me, it's all part of the magic if ya ask me. :) I did manage to get this one picture in the middle of all the Ooooing & Awwwing!

Completely tuckered out after her 1st Christmas

It was a nice Christmas although I think if it weren't for Noah and the whole gift thing I don't think it would have felt much like it. I wonder, is it simply because I'm getting older or does it have something to do with no famliy and being in Hawaii for the 5th year in a row??? Oh well, as this year is almost over we are looking forward to getting our orders sometime in the next couple of weeks.... we are really crossing our fingers for the L.A. area! I truly hope all our friends and family had a wonderful Christmas & I am excited just thinking about the Christmas blog I'll be able to write next year!! :) We love you all!
