Ceramics Goodies

Sorry so late, but better late than never I suppose! At first I was pretty ticked that the only class I didn't get an A in was ceramics (and I didn't get an A simply because I didn't make a teapot, ugh) but then I realized how much fun I had and how I couldn't make anything when I started. I am pleased.

Here is a shot of everything I made & was graded on... many things didn't make it, R.I.P!

This is the ice cream bowl I made for Noah for Christmas, he loves it!

I like this one too, I was my best bottle form, I sponged this really cool green color over the cream but you can't see it that well in this pic...

The glaze turned out really fun on this one!

K, so this one was my hands-down favorite... and it got a chip on it on the way home...It still looks great but I just can't get over it!

Stacked piece... we fought, I won and it turned out really fun!

I do not, I repeat... do not like these pieces... but Kev really likes the blue one, so I kept it.

The mug on the left is the 2nd thing I made, not too shabby huh?! And the one on the right is my best crafted and I made it for Kev, see the #1 Hubby on it, BUT the glaze they had made was super thin and we didn't know it... so it turned out all gritty.... it's still a great mug and he loves it but I was so mad!

Well, there they are. My little ceramic babies, molded from simple balls of clay... I do hope to find some time between family, school and training to dabble in making some more things. We'll see.
