President's Day Weekend

Sharon, Brian, Teresa & CJ made the stormy trek up to see us over this long holiday weekend! They got in late late late Friday night... really Saturday morning. Here is Sharon playing with the littlest ones. Scarlett really enjoyed having her cousin, CJ, at the house for the weekend.... it was like having a live baby doll for her! She is in that mode of "I'm not a baby, THAT'S a baby!" and she kisses him and pats his little head and of course cuts her eyes at him when he's getting Grammie time and she's not. So funny!

We went out to lunch on Saturday at The Great Plate. It's a cute little place downtown where you can decorate a random plate they provide for you and then they hang them all over their wall. Pretty neat! Of course Kev was handed the sharpie because he's the best artist in the bunch! He did a great job, but I have to say I was a little disappointed that they only had pastel pink, lemon yellow, and easter green for colors.... Ick!
So, a little side story for ya.... For a long time we have been teasing Noah that we are vampires... I don't even remember how this started, but he loves it. I can never tell if he believes us or not but it sure is fun to joke.... so we went with the vampire theme for our Farntastic plate!

Sunday I stayed home to work on homework and study all day but the rest of the clan headed to the San Francisco Zoo. They seemed to have had a wonderful day and I got a ton accomplished. Win & Win!
