Happy Daddy!!

This week it was Kevin's birthday and I tried to teach Scarlett how to say "Happy Birthday Daddy!" She didn't quite get it, but it was so cute to watch her try. She just kept saying "Happy!" and "Daddy!" :) My hot young stud is now 31! Congrats, babe! I love you more and more each year!
This year we threw a spur of the moment celebration on Sunday because we wouldn't all be home at the same time on Monday. We did exactly what he wanted; we spent the day outside, working on our garden together. He was happy and it was a wonderful, beautiful day!

It was steak and potatoes for dinner, that's what the birthday boy always requests and that's what he gets! Dad & son teamed up to grill- They were delicious!

Since it was a spur of the moment thing to do it Sunday, I didn't make my usual German chocolate cake for him. But he did pick out whatever cake he wanted and this was it! Like the decor?? I literally opened my birthday drawer in my craft stash and pulled out whatever extras I had! It was fun and kind of nice to spend the time celebrating with him instead of cooking and baking a lot of stuff!
