Toes & 4 month olds!

Yesterday I went back to the pediatrist to get my in-grown ucky toe-nails permanantly fixed and it went rather well. The shot didn't hurt like I thought it would and after that I didn't feel a thing. BUT, I was a little emotionally scarred when the foot doctor says to me..."Wow! You're toes are really long!" A foot doctor I tell you... someone who looks at feet all day long says my toes are really long. Great, lol! Mostly I think my Dad will get the biggest kick out of that since he still remarks with shock and a chuckle everytime he sees them. Ha, I love you Dad! I had a rough time last night because they were all sore and tightly bandaged up like this...

It was really hard to walk and they hurt through-out the night but I made it thanks to my wonderful husband taking care of me and the baby. Bandages are off today and toes are healing well.

This morning I set out to spend some much needed time with my great friend Brenda. She's had a major surgery in the past month and I hadn't seen her yet. We're long-time running partners and best friends and we always get the kids together for their weekly "date" and our weekly run/walk. Her son Zeke was born just days after Scarlett. :) It was really great to catch up!
After that I drove back to get Kev & Noah so we could go to Letty's 4 month appt and she could get those shots she's been wanting so bad! As suspected, all this crazy fussiness is from acid reflux. Poor girl. Our wonderful pediatrician prescribed some baby zantac for her and we hope it will go right away. She weighs 14lbs 2oz. Pretty much double her birth weight! I absolutely can not believe how the time is flying... I'm wondering if it would just be okay to sit on her so she'll stop growing; her and Noah both! No, really I'm enjoying watching my children grow. They both make me so proud. So Scarlett gets to begin eating solids now and that's really exciting too. I'll make sure to get some great pics of her first "real food".
Noah & Kev are at his Cub Scouts meeting now. It was supposed to be patriotic themed to go with Veterans Day so Kev set them up to go to the CG station. I'm sure it's going well and I'll post pics as soon as I get my hands on them!
