I am lucky enough to have a handful of people I truly call my best friends. I'm not sure how I got that lucky (mostly I just know that God sent them to me :), each for their own special purpose!) Anyway, stars aligned and my BFF Julie (we're basically just minorly altered replicas of each other) and I were able to have a double vaca on the Big Island over MLK holiday weekend. We camped, we beach jenga-ed on black sand, we ate, we drank, we were merry, we saw whales, they renewed their vows, we explored all over a volcano. On my own I explored beaches and found petroglyphs and fell in love with everything that is the Big Island. I'm pretty sure if I tried to really blog about my amazing 4 days on the Big Island with Jules it wouldn't do it any justice so I'm going to link my album from facebook so you all can enjoy the pictures and captions that will take you along my 4 days.... Oh, AND Kev and I will be back on the Big Island in March for the Half-Marathon!
