Where are these people's manners?????

Noah's scooter got stollen. Okay, so he left it at the park but it's totally gone and another kid saw another kid ride off with it last night. Am I old-fashioned or is it okay for kids to take things that aren't theirs these days and I just didn't get the memo?? And if I was the parent of said kid who brought said scooter home I'd definitely tell them to take it back where they found it because the owner would be looking for it. I mean come on, he rides it there all the time. I'm relatively sure someone knew it was his. I know Noah left it and of course I explained to him how it was really his mistake that it is gone, but COME ON!!! I'm just frustrated; I'm from the south, we're nice there. If someone loses something or forgets something, we try to get it back to the rightful owner. We don't shrug and say "Well he left it, it's his fault. It's mine!!" That's just totally jerky if you ask me. It also doesn't help that his skateboard was stolen from the front of our house last year... I'm SO ready to move.... come on orders!!!!!!!!!!! *wait* *wait* *wait*<-------------- that's me waiting...
