Expo-Valendent's Great Aloha Weekend!

We had a fantastic Expo-Valendent's Great Aloha Weekend!! Friday we watched the Opening Ceremony for the Olympics. Then Saturday morning we headed to the GAR Expo. I absolutely love expos- of every kind! They are so much fun! I'm really excited for the expo before the Hilo-halfie! Anyway, here's some pics of our Expo fun!
Future Surgeon Noah
We got massages.... well deserved massages!

Noah won this ball, he was really excited

While we were there I also met a man; a very amazing and inspiring man. If you have a minute I'd like you to click here and read about him. I bought the book and pledged the $ to pancreatic cancer.
After the expo we came home and Noah took a nap cause he was EXHAUSTED from staying up so late on Friday. That gave me the perfect opportunity to watch my early V-day gift: The Time Traveler's Wife. Yea- tissue please! What a great movie. When I was a younger adult I was never really into love movies, but now I love them. And I love a good cry; I am so much like my Mom! I have a feeling that movie is going to be a life-long favorite. I'd like to read the book now but I seem to be accumulating a very long book list these days so who knows when I'll get to it.
Letty being read her cards :)
Chocolate, Romantic Movie, Perfume, Stuffed Animals & Great Cards. I think they covered Valentine's day very well this year!
Sunday we had brunch at Koa Pancake house :) and then we grocery shopped, lol. Kev and I planned ahead to celebrate Valentine's Day on Monday after the run so we could go to bed early on Sunday. I remember our first Valentine's Day. I got called into work to do some paperwork, we got Panda Express to go, came home drank some beers and played Pac-Man on my original Nintendo.... now that's love :)

Alright, I have to make a special note to Bek- she handmade Noah the cutest card this year with scissors, glue AND cut-out hearts! She's seriously an awesome aunt and has always done the sweetest things for him. Here's a pic of it- THANKS BEK, YOU ROCK!

I know everyone is just DYING to read about the Great Aloha Run and I will be writing about it, but honestly I'd like to relax sometime today and so far I've gotten out of bed(which is the hardest part of the day), dressed children, made breakfast, done P90X arms, gone to 4 classes, taken a cat-nap-ha!, ran ~3miles, picked up both kids, made dinner, ate dinner, bathed the girl, and now I'm blogging... so you're gonna have to wait til tomorrow to read about the GAR!

I'll leave you with a picture of me & my wonderful Valentine on our dinner cruise. We had a lovely time and it was just what we needed to end the long weekend.
