The Twilight Experience

Okay, so I mentioned the other day that I had bought tickets to see the Twilight Experience. Now I'm no obsessed fan, but it sure does give you something to have fun with and it was a blast! And it gave me a decent excuse to run to Target and buy the last of 2 "I <3 Edward" T-shirts on the rack for $3. Sharon had to work until 6 and the deal started at 6:30 so I headed up to the theatre to get a place in line at 5. I figured an hour and a half was PLENTY of time. Yea, when I got there there were people in chairs with blankets, books and umbrellas... wow! This was the wraparound part of the line I was in. Thankfully they had 4 screens open for this or it would have been a disaster. Good job AMC!

They let us in at about 5:45. I saved Sharon a seat without a hassle from anyone, she popped in at about 6:15 and the theatre was full of screams as Twilight began! I was totally stoked that Sharon loved the first one. It made the night so much more fun to see her excited too!

They gave us a 30 minute intermission in between all the movies to stretch, eat, and all that jazz which was pretty cool. We grabbed our popcorn just in time for New Moon to start. What's funny is that I didn't like New Moon when I saw it the first time.... don't really know why, I was just like "huh, whatever". This time was completely different, I honestly think watching all 3 in a row was just more fun.

It's 11:05 and New Moon is over.... we thought we should have been sleeeeepy, but we weren't! But we took a sleepy picture anyway because we were feeling silly and excited! Seriously, this was like my 7 hours of school-girlness. It was way fun and Sharon kept cracking up at this very grown woman beside her that was shouting and OooOoooing, it was funny!

I thought we had made it through the night with no Team Edward Vs. Team Jacob fights or any other craziness but sometime during the previews some losers decided to steal the seats of these seemingly nice people and the entire theatre was booing them and YELLING at them to get up. They put the movie on hold and brought someone in to MAKE them get up. Crazy! Although, I was pretty impressed with how respectful the crowd was the majority of the evening. Anyway.... ONTO the movie!
Yes, I took pictures in the theatre ;)

I won't say much, just that it was really really great. Of course, the best so far. But if you've read the books you already knew it was going to be. The whole night was so much fun; Sharon and I finally got home around 3AM. Ya know, I'd say it was incredibly fun and I'd definitely do it again. Every once in awhile you get a chance to do something and I suggest you say "Yes" every chance you get! I always tell Noah that you don't get a lot of second chances to do things, so don't hold back. Even if it is just saying yes to a 7 hour movie marathon! ;)

Yes it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed myself, I am a huge VAMPIRE fan at heart. When I was a young child treat or treating I always dressed as a VAMPIRE! I enjoyed all our hours together watching all the Twilight series! Thanks Sarah for the awesome experience last summer! Love Mom F.
