Recent Happenings

Hiya friends & family! I thought I'd sort of do and "this & that" blog today. A lot has been happening around here at the Farnady household. For starters, our stuff arrived last week!

 Can you say "WOOHOO!!!" ? Cause that's what we said! In particular, Scarlett was just elated when she saw her things. I sat and rocked her in her room and her face was just jumping with expressions! Not to mention all of Noah's toys are brand new again and Kevin & I had THE BEST night's sleep back in our bed! As far as our home goes, my very own brand spankin' new refrigerator was delivered on time and the kitchen is completely done, Noah's room is almost done, Letty's too, and the family room is basically done. Our room, bathroom and the spare bedroom are slightly organized disaster areas and nothing is hung yet, but I always do that last anyway.

We had a nice 4th of July weekend. We just took the kids down to the park and watched the parade.

Balloon animals sure have come a long way since I was a kid!

Noah really seemed to enjoy it and even got to meet the Mayor. ;) He was tickled. Then we watched the fireworks from Noah's window, he had a pretty good view. I'm slowly getting use to living in a small town again. I swear I haven't seen a cloud in the sky yet and the temperature is perfect for my morning runs. It's just so completely different than Hawaii... There are A LOT of positives about our move, our beautiful home for one and being so close to family for another, but I miss Hawaii already. Mostly I think I miss having friends around. Stacie, since I know you are a loyal reader (even though you aren't a follower ;) ), things just haven't been the same since you left. I miss you! Alright, enough with the whining!

Today was a very exciting day for Letty!!! Today she got her forward-facing car seat :)

Besides that, her birthday dress came in today AND I picked up her birthday present!

I can't believe Scarlett will be 1 in two days.... goodness how time flies by. I can barely remember life before her and can't imagine life without her, she has completed our family perfectly.
