This past week Kevin & I celebrated our 3rd year of marriage! We had plenty to celebrate, our year has been packed!
When we came here back in June to find our home we took a fun trip to the city. I saw that the Broadway musical, Wicked, was ending it's run in Septemeber and just knew we had to catch it. I have always loved the theatre. (Thank you Mom and Dad for making me sit through all those performances!) Last year while I was in drama I performed the song, Popular, as a non musical skit. So much fun!! I do miss the drama class sometimes :) Anyway, if you have the chance to catch it, DO IT!
Thanks a million to Barbara for watching the kids so we could have such a fun night out!
I left all the planning up to Kevin and did he ever blow me away, as always. We started our evening at Espetus, a Brazilian steak house. Seriously, this place was DIVINE!! You sit down, order drinks (they had an icredibly impressive sangria) and then go to the salad/side bar. Kevin warned me not to get too much of that on my plate, and he was right! Once we were ready, we flipped our sign to green and the meat began! My favorite was definitely the bacon wrapped filet mignon and the grilled pineapple. Kevin's was 100% the chicken hearts, lol....
Funny story: During dinner we noticed some commotion outside the window... a homeless man was apparently trying to get water from the restaurant so a persuasive man was "helping" him away and his pants fell down! We had no idea we were going to get free entertainment with dinner! Never a dull moment!
For dessert we had the chocolate mousse, at my request, and a very good port wine to pair. Hello heaven! Then it was off to the Orpheum!
Here are a few more pictures from our most amazing celebration of our 3rd year of forever. Enjoy!

I snapped this picture while none of the aisle police were around, I felt so naughty!
The show did not dissapoint one bit! Not to mention we were about 6 rows back in the middle, perfect seats. I would go back and watch it again and again if I had an endless supply of money. The theatre is such a magical experience, I am really glad to be close enough that we can enjoy it together.
Thank you Kevin for planning a wonderful evening. I loved reminiscing, love talking about what our future holds, and most of all love you - my husband & best friend.
