Tornado August

I guess it wasn't really a tornado, more like a whirlwind.... aaaand it's almost over. August was an awesome month as usual. With school starting, 17 days of visitors, our anniversary, having the plague and trying to squeeze as much as we can out of the end of summer by today -August 30 - I am spent!

It's been a week since Barbara left. We had such a great time catching up, checking out the area, and just hanging out. I have said it a million times but I am just so glad we have the relationship we do now. She is truly a blessing in my life. In the week since she's left everyone except for Noah has had the death summer flu, a.k.a The Plague. Ugh, it's been awful! But I think poor Kevin is on the last day of it now. Thank goodness.

So what's up for The Farntastic Four now you ask??? Cause you know I've already got plans right?? Haha, you know me well then.

First, we leave on Friday for LA. Sunday is the Disney Half Marathon!!!! Yay! I have a confession though - my training has definitely NOT been up to par. This summer has been beyond busy and maybe this wasn't my brightest idea. I just get so swept away by the thought of the thrill of a race. I love them, they are "my thing". Perfectly trained or not, I'm super excited and can't wait to race with Kev again. It's just fun.

Second, I leave next Wednesday to go home for my reunion. Can you say FUN FUN FUN! I can not wait to see my family and friends and really let loose a little. I am taking Letty with me so the family can spend some extra time with her and so my besties back home can finally meet her. She's very excited too :)

Then, when we get back I am full steam ahead on yard sale business. I have never held one, but I know people that have, lol! Julie- I'm going to need your help!! We just have a lot of stuff that we don't need or don't want quite frankly and I can't think of a better to get rid of it. I normally give everything to Goodwill or whoever else needs it, but I thought this would be just enough stress and pressure to be fun!

After that it's a small break before I start prepping for The Holidays!!! Honestly it may seem like a lot but things are really starting to wind down for us aaaaand I think a small break before the best time of the year is exactly what we need.
