Good grief it's getting hot out there! I just went for about a 3 1/2 mile run and actually had to swing by the house at 2miles to grab some water! That's pretty bad. It probably didn't help that I went at 3 o'clock, but hey, I went! I'm well aware that this picture is QUITE the exaggeration but you get the point....
I've started a regular running routine again.... well I wouldn't quite call it a routine, but it's close. Feels good. Somehow I've gained almost 5 lbs since the Hilo Half. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I've continued to eat like I did when I was training and company makes for good cooking and not a lot of working out. Whoopsie! Not to mention that for me, thanks to my two beautiful children, when I gain weight it goes SMACK to my hips. Oh well, chalk it up to learning not to slack I guess. 108 days until the Disneyland Half Marathon!!
