I am ABSOLUTELY exhausted! This has definitely been the longest week EVER. I have a little minute between laundry loads so I thought I'd do a little update blog.
Well, I finally finished the semester. Honestly, it flew by with everything else going on. I thought my last two finals were going to be awful, but they actually turned out to be pretty easy. I'll post the grades as soon as I get them. I'm really hoping for A's again. I did give them all "A" effort!
On to the move... Holy Cow! There are only 5 days until the movers come to pack us out. I can't believe it. I'm ready to go and not ready to go. Isn't that the way it always works out?! Moving is always bittersweet & Hawaii holds some very special memories for me. I was supposed to be having lots of fun right now, but more moving work keeps coming up and don't even get me started on laundry, lol! We shipped the Honda yesterday, which was easy. The Tracker gave us a little more trouble than expected. Long story short, we're dumping way more moolah than expected into getting it ready to ship. Oh well, it's done now & that's what counts. I'm becoming obsessed with checkmarks these days.... car - check! pre-pack - check! blog - check! ;) Now I'm just going over the house with a fine tooth comb getting it ready for Wednesday. After Wednesday we have 8 days in an empty house... oh the fun we will have! Then, it's off to the Ihilani for our last 5 days!!!
I still have a little bit I want to do, mostly I want to see everything one more time. Shockingly I'm pretty satisfied right now. I've been spending some time going through old pictures from the 5 years I've spent here. Wow!, have I had some great times and I have definitely done just about everything I want to do. Hawaii has been the background for the most amazing 5 years of my life. :) Tomorrow is dedicated completely to the North Shore, my very favorite place! Then Sunday we're hitting the water park! Hooray for weekends!!
