I tell you what, 2010 was one heck of a whirlwind year... I don't know about you, but I welcomed 2011 with open arms!
We had such a fun time ringing in the new year last night! I love getting older and staying in with the kids! We had extra kids over last night too since Noah's friends from across the street came over for some food, games and fun!
Awhile back my good friend, Celia, sent me a surprise package with a Big Top Cupcake in it. She's the best! Noah & I decided that a New Year's cupcake just had to be made, so yesterday afternoon we headed to the store to get all the essentials for our yummy treat complete with strawberry filling :)!
Our finished product! We cut into it at midnight and it was delicious!
We spent the evening watching the New Year's Eve specials on t.v., playing charades and playing outside with our teeny fireworks... even though it was freeeeezing outside! I snuck in to give Scarlett her 2nd annual New Year's Eve kiss and the evening was over! It's so funny, I'm asking Kevin now.... "What DID we do with all the hours last night??" We both agree that it seemed to fly by!

I woke up early to see this morning of 1-1-11 with Letty and to catch the launch of OWN. Kevin made us a huge breakfast and now we're hanging around watching football & doing a whole lot of nothing. Later I'm going to do my Resolution Fun Run & we're going to help Noah make some goals for the new year so he can hang them up and see them, then we're going to hang ours up! I thought this year it would be a great idea to actually put them where we can see them all the time. I always have mine written out, but this year we're really doing the together thing. I'm excited, I can not wait to see where 2011 will take the Farntastic Four and where it will take each of you!

Awwww! That looks soooooooo delicious! I remember Noah kept asking, "Mom, are you SURE you don't need/want one of those giant cupcake things?!" and looking at you with those big puppy dog eyes. So cute!
