In-EGG-itable

Happy Easter everyone, well sort of. I woke up extra early (meaning, waaaay before the sun comes up) this morning to do the kids Easter baskets. I would have done them last night, but we went to bed at nine because we just couldn't keep our eyes open for another second.

After I get done I hop on the computer and check the ole facebook. What do I find?.... The inevitable has happened. My friend, Quinn, has left me a little message. A message telling me how my son told her son that the Easter bunny wasn't real and your parents make the baskets for you...! NoooOOOOoooo!!! I knew it would be over after this year and I accepted that, but I really believed that Noah still sort of believed it all this year. And I'm definitely NOT okay with him being the one telling other kids. I'm so sad.... now I have to figure out what to do. Do I talk to him about it? Do I pretend like it didn't happen and just keep on with the whole facade? I mean, he's got to keep it up anyway for his sister's sake. What's crazy is that Noah normally tells me everything, and lately I've been asking him stuff like "Hey- so are you and your friends excited about Easter? Have they been talking about it? What do you say?" Ya know, to get something out of him if others are talking about the whole reality thing. And nothing. He's said nothing but that he's excited about Easter and can't wait to see what the Easter bunny brings and where he hides the eggs... oh well. I guess it all has to end sometime... but if he tells his sister, he's in HUGE trouble!!!
