Yesterday was a hard day. As I mentioned before, we made the decision to re-home Guinness. It has been a trying few weeks with multiple families seriously interested. It didn't work out for her to go to the Big Island. Long story short, we found out that Guinness has a dermoid cyst, which could be bad & could also never affect her... I hate stuff like that. Luckily, she's never shown any signs of being ill or feeling bad and her overall health is tip-top so we expect she'll live a looooong & happy life. :) Anyways, Kevin ended up picking this very nice man who runs a non-profit organization out on the west side. He runs a huge organic farm & cafe with tons of land. Guinness already has a new friend, a female German Shepard & they will be best of friends & have tons of doggy fun I'm sure! Kevin said she seemed to really like the man & her new doggy friend. (I didn't go, I can't handle stuff like that) I'm happy for her & we are really ready to just move forward and not dwell on missing her.
On to the happy stuff! Kevin cleaned up the backyard, we made a fire, pulled Scarlett's bouncer in the yard and just played and relaxed. It was nice!
Then we ate some early dinner & headed down to the beach for sunset! I ALWAYS want to do this, but sometimes silly life gets in the way & I don't get to. How lucky are we that when we get there our favorite Hawaiian Monk Seal, Erma has beached there for the day! And.... she's pregnant :) They don't know when she's due, sure wish we'd be here to see the pups!

We went home, took a stroll around the block & then had movie night. Doesn't get much better than that :)
