Halloween

What a FUN FUN weekend we had and I hope you all did too! I've been hitting the hay early all week just to recoup! It went so fast, thank goodness Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away and we'll get to see the family again. Just one more reason why I just love this time of the year.
Halloween morning we all got up & milled around a bit until Noah & I headed to church for his Slime Time Sunday. I wish I had pictures, but I was in "big church" so I didn't get any. He had a lot of fun making and playing with slime though! The boys spent their afternoon playing with bikes and throwing darts. Sharon & I got to hang out, dress Letty up & prepare for the night. Poor, poor Letty. She had a stuffy nose and just felt rotten all afternoon. But didn't she look cute??
I made a bad Mom mistake with her costume! I hate to admit this, but I honestly forgot to think about it being cold here when I ordered her costume. :( It's been warm this past week, but with her cold there was no way she was wearing this out.... I'll be remembering this next year! I thought it was kind of ironic that she was Sleeping Beauty but she's not been much of a sleeping beauty lately, lol! Sweet girl.
The boys carved their pumpkin next. We normally have individual pumpkins but this year we decided on one massive pumpkin for the whole Farnady family! Noah wanted it to look like Harry Potter... Kev is a great artist, but not THAT great so they settled on a fun home made design. I like those better anyway :)

The rest of the Farnady clan got to our house & we played darts then ate some good chili brought by Uncle Mike and cornbread, spice cake cupcakes, and pumpkin seeds that I made. Nothing like filling your belly before going trick or treating! I could have taken a nap!

Let the Trick or Treating commence! Noah & his BFF, Riley as bad Star Wars guys!

I was so excited when Letty showed interest in Trick or Treating! No kidding, she got the hang of it really quick! Walk up to the door, look adorable (which she ALWAYS does!!) get candy. Easy!

"Dad, how did you get so great?!" or maybe "Dad, why do you have that crazy mask on your head?" Haha!

Noah had such a fun Halloween, this is the first year he has left us in the dust to go with his friends. It was fun to watch! He made out pretty good & I can't wait for him to finish eating all this crazy candy so it will be out of the house!
