How Do You Know When Your Great Weekend Is Over??

And I mean SO OVER. How about when you get a corndog thrown at you by your 16 month old princess?!

First, this is what I wrote earlier. I was going to finish it later, which I am... it's just going a little differently than I thought. ;)

Scarlett & I have had a fantastic girls' weekend! I am always a little bummed when the guys leave but I also really enjoy my quiet time. This weekend we've taken it eeeeeasy and just hung out. We've read books and layed around in our pajamas until almost noon everyday. We watched as much Baby Einstein & Mickey Mouse Clubhouse as we (I) could stand! :) The weather this weekend was gorgeous so we took full advantage of it and played outside a lot. We napped and got dressed in cute stuff just because! We went to the mall, twice and I gave us pedicures with a new polish we picked out last night.

Then... I stopped writing to get Letty up from her nap and head to the grocery store. Oh, it seemed like we were in such a good mood. What is it about lightly strapping a toddler into a grocery cart that makes them go crazy anyway? To sum this story up, I ended up leaving my half full cart of whatever (because I have no idea what was in that cart because Scarlett kept trying to snatch my list and coupons to eat them, so I just started throwing stuff in) at the end of an aisle, paying for the fruit snacks I opened to try to calm her down, telling the nice grocery people where I left my cart, apologizing and getting the heck out of there! I headed across the street to Sonic where Letty could stretch her legs and we could get a bite to eat before going home. I thought the fresh air would do her some good. All was well, she seemed happy enough. I got her a corndog because she recently had one and liked it.... I peeled some of the nasty crust off of it, she looked happy.... I handed it to her, she looked at me and threw it right at me. Game over. Home - Bath - Bed. *sigh* SO glad this day is over! A little Soup on E! always makes me feel better :)
